Institute Technology Management Unit

Institute Technology Management Unit deals with management transfer, commercialization and patenting of technology at institute level. It has been set up to strengthen institutional capacity for developing human resources and skills for intellectual property management in the form of patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets etc. It facilitates protection and commercialization of technology developed by the institute so that income generated out of these inventions can be utilized for the benefit of institute. To monitor these activities and effectively use technologies for commercial benefits at institute level, Institute Technology Management Committee (ITMC) has been formed.
